Dispatcher

Reynolds Nationwide is looking for a Dispatcher for our San Antonio Terminal.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Build and update schedules in our dispatch system

Track drivers from pick up and deliver locations Troubleshoot and resolve delivery and pick up problems before they become service issues

• Coordinate drivers assignments based on schedule changes
• Communicate with drivers over telephone and PeopleNet units
• Act as point of contact for drivers
• Monitor phones and email and provide timely responses to customer inquiries
• Communicate with Maintenance in regard to equipment repairs
• Monitor driver attendance and Hours of Service to ensure compliance with D.O.T.
• Counsel drivers on disciplinary issues
• Attend company training and meetings
• Maximize driver and equipment utilizationSuccessful candidates must be able to:
• Communicate with all levels within the organization as well as with customers over the phone or via email
• Become familiar with customer and state requirements in safe handling and transport of bulk food grade shipments according to company policies as well as Pasteurized Milk Ordinance
• Have at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office
• Have at least 1 year of experience in transportation
• McLeod dispatch software experience a plus
• Cross train and work every position on the operations floor
• Handle high call volume and effectively make decisions in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment

Work Schedule:

• Shift is 6AM-6PM
• Rotating schedule with 3-day weekend every other week:
• 2 days on, 2 days off,3 days on
• 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Our operation runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Pay: $37,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
