Construction Estimator/Draw Inspector
We are a Quincy-based private lending company that provides loans secured by real estate to developers and builders.
We are looking to hire an inspector with a construction background to visit job sites and verify construction work is completed prior to the lender advancing construction draw funds. This position also requires some administrative work to review plans, budgets and project scopes.
Inspector must have experience in construction industry, General Contractor license is a plus.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate will have working knowledge of building construction, materials, structural systems. Must have working knowledge of plumbing, heating and electrical systems.
- Must be good communicator, able to detail work done at property and provide post-inspection write-up
- Candidate must be able to review building plans, budget and scope of work and determine the project feasibility.
- Must be able to work independently in the field and to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with others
- Candidate should be technology-savvy; able to take pictures at sites, communicate via email and use inspection draw online platform
- Candidate must have a reliable vehicle to visit job sites. Inspection areas are primarily located in Massachusetts, with some sites reaching Rhode Island, Southern New Hampshire and Eastern Connecticut.
- Job location is hybrid: some aspect will be traveling to job sites, some aspect will be visiting our Quincy office for administrative work, some remote work allowed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
