What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Coordinator position at RFMW?
The Customer Service Coordinator provides support to the RFMW sales force by assisting with customer inquiries, coordinating special customer requests, and issue resolution.
RFMW is an electronic component distributor of RF and microwave products, within the XTG/TTI Family of Specialists. This position will be on site at RFMW Headquarters in San Jose, CA.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Answer and action phone calls with a high level of professionalism and a positive rapport with all contacts.
Serve as first contact for processing web inquires for non-focused sales accounts.
Provides information to customers regarding order status by answering inquiries by phone and email by looking up the inquiries in CRM.
Coordinates issue resolution by working with the Inside Sales Representative and the customer to ensure smooth sales to shipping process.
Assists the Inside Sales Representative to process customer quotes by performing stock checks and obtaining delivery information by utilizing the company systems and customer portals.
Process order confirmation files by reviewing data and maintaining accuracy resulting in low sales errors and high quality.
Provide support to the Inside Sales Representatives by returning phone calls to customers, sending samples and sales literature to customers and researching and preparing customer return authorizations and replacement orders, as well as managing customer backlog.
Assists sales leadership in creating, implementing, and improving processes.
Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 months’ experience in a customer support or similar role, preferably in the Electronics Components industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Energetic professional with outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of company product lines, services, policies and procedures.
- Must have good telephone etiquette and ability to write routine business correspondence.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Transaction oriented with a strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and web-based CRM tools at an intermediate level.

Pay Rate: $23.75 - $25 per hour. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
