Attendant / Care Provider

```Job Summary:```
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals who require support with daily activities and personal care. Your role will involve promoting independence, ensuring the well-being of our clients, and creating a safe and nurturing environment.

```Duties:```
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times

```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as a caregiver or nurse is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers (e.g., from bed to wheelchair)
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is beneficial
- Experience in childcare or assisted living is an asset
