Administrative functions for a region including: coordinating the new employee orientation process, maintaining employee records, conducting training, assisting with employee relations/communication and performing administrative functions as needed. Supervises and delivers various personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, communication, job changes, and file/records management. This position also works closely with staff who coordinate training and credentialing for required staff. Assists with determining the appropriate staffing level for the unit, assigns duties as needed to other administrative staff, ensures all employees are paid appropriately and in a timely manner. Payrate: $18.00 The Staffing Coordinator works with RHA recruiters and local operations leadership to source candidates and work towards an ideal candidate experience through the hiring experience. This position also works closely with staff who coordinate training and credentialing for required staff. Required Education/Experience Education: Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred. Experience One year of HR, Training or Credentialing experience preferred. Travel may be required, greater than 1 hour, depending on their proximity to the assigned units. Required Licenses/Certifications Valid driver’s license Responsibilities: Coordinates Candidate Interview, Onboarding Process and Coordinates Staff Solutions with the Director and/or Administrator. Works with RHA recruiters and local operations leadership to source candidates and work towards an ideal candidate experience through the hiring experience. This includes interviews, technical support, communication and other employee relations to build the ideal candidate experience. The staffing coordinator will also support people we serve and create opportunities to choose their staff. The staffing coordinator will maintain personnel files by filing documents timely, ensures the files are kept confidential and retained in compliance with the Record Retention Policy. Supervises and delivers various personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, communication, job changes, and file/records management. Assists with Employee Relations- Assists in employee relations activities acting as a reference for personnel policies. Works with Administrator/Director and Corporate HR on employee matters. Coordinates Employee Training and Development- Coordinates and participates in new employee orientation including assisting in training. Schedules and confirms training for staff. Ensures instructors are available and that curriculums are current. Maintains training database and informs supervisors when employees need additional training and annual certifications. Prepares training reports for corporate QA, Safety Committee, and Director meetings. Handles the set up for the training classes by using the training checklist. Sets up CBT trainings. Informs the Director and VPs, via reports, of expired and past due training. Instructs employees in completing on-line as well as self-paced courses as appropriate. This position also works closely with staff who coordinate training and credentialing for required staff. Assists with determining the appropriate staffing level for the unit, assigns duties as needed to other administrative staff, ensures all employees are paid appropriately and in a timely manner. Coordinates Employee Staffing and Hiring- Collaborates with RHA Recruiters to maintain scope of vacancy and recruiting efforts. Maintains Workday job profiles for open positions. Ensures all employees meet the company conditions of employment. Participates in career fairs, open houses, college recruiting, etc. to reach a diverse set of candidates, as needed Performs Credentialing- Completes all credentialing for each licensed staff hired per company policy. Essential Qualifications/Skills Language- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and speak in front of a group, respond to questions from employees, people supported, government officials and the general public. Mathematical (Professional)-Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Fundamentals of math such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions and reading charts and graphs as applicable to practical situations. Ability to read financial statements, apply basic financial ratios and reasoning to interpret and project conditions. Reasoning (Professional)-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, diagrams and deal with several abstract and concrete variables at the same time. Essential Physical and Sensory Requirements-With or without the aid of mechanical devices Light - Regularly required to lift 10 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 10 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear. Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries.
