What are the responsibilities and job description for the R&D Chemist position at RHM Staffing Solutions?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities in the field of analytical chemistry, with a focus on chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and spectroscopy.
- Majority of the day to day will be creating methods and validations. Also, formulating new product concepts, as well as adjusting or improving formulas for specific products.
- Analyze and interpret data obtained from experiments using various analytical instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development projects and ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
- Perform wet chemistry techniques and utilize biochemistry knowledge to optimize experimental procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of analytical chemistry and quantum engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry techniques such as chromatography, HPLC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.
- Experience taking a product from concept to completion.
- Understanding of CGMP standards and experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
