Security Officer
Location: Rhodium Shared Services (Austin Area)
Job Summary:
Rhodium Security officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of the company's employees, visitors, and associated property. Security officers are tasked with patrolling a designated area, responding to safety and security threats, and establishing a security presence. Experience, Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Law Enforcement background, Military Police background or graduate of the Police Academy preferred.
- Must qualify for Level III Security Officer
- Customer Service attitude is a must.
- Strong observation skills
- Insurable Driving Record is required
- Handle and assume job responsibilities and other job duties as assigned
- Basic First Aid Certified
- Continued Education beyond HS diploma/GED
- Self-Confident Individual
- Executive Protection Experience
- Up to 25% travel potential

- Available for multiple location assignments as needed
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
- Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes)
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
- Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have
- Effective liaison, support and assistance between the security department and remainder of organization.
- Maintain and improve mechanisms for risk assessment and disseminate feedback to the organization.
- Monitors & manages security systems and equipment servicing and/or maintenance in conjunction with other departments, as appropriate.
- Acquires and maintains necessary licenses and certifications to maintain armed security at our offices and sites.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
