What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Psychologist position at RICBT?
Job Summary
As a psychologist at RICBT, you can make meaningful and measurable differences in people’s lives. You give patients incredible support and teach them proven strategies to reduce emotional distress. You help them thrive at work, in school, or with their friends and family. You focus on providing individual, couples, family, or group treatment and on building transformative therapeutic alliances. You are there for patients when they are most symptomatic and you support them through many different phases of life.
RICBT surrounds you with incredible colleagues who practice from an academic perspective - incorporating the best of the scientific literature when determining how to help patients. Your colleagues speak in a clear and empathic way about mental health issues and try to go the extra mile for patients. Our culture is both down-to-earth and inspirational; you will want to keep learning and improving as a clinician when you hear your teammates sharing their creative, thoughtful, and informed work with patients.
You can add your expertise to our mix and contribute to the programs we offer to help children, teens, college students, adults, and older adults with many different behavioral health conditions. Maybe you are skilled in CBT for phobias or experienced in teaching DBT to teens. Maybe you are fascinated by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or use Gottman or Emotionally Focused techniques in your work with couples. If you are passionate about developing as a clinician and learning more as you progress in the field, you will thrive as part of our team.
