Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we’d like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with management team to formulate objectives and understand requirements
• Meet production schedules
• Oversee Supervisors and staff members
• Maintain staffing levels and cross training to ensure reliable operations.
• Quality Control of products produced
• Monitor production to resolve issues
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
• Resolve matters as they occur
• Determine quantity of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
• Notify Management Team of issues or concerns including but not limited to: maintenance issues, equipment needs, personnel matters, production and QA matters
• Understand equipment operation and functionality
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions

Knowledge Skills, Abilities & Experience:

• Proven experience as production manager or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of production management
• Ability to analyze business problems from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective
• Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Outstanding communication ability
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

Preferred Skills

• BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred
• Prior experience in automated concrete or related manufacturing plant.

Salary:

· Dependent upon experience. Will be discussed in interview.

Schedule:

· Hours: 6:30AM – 5:00PM

· Must be available weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
