Job Description

• ASSISTING THE MILL SUPERVISOR WITH ALL DUTIES REQUIRED; SUPERVISE THE MILL SHIFT WHEN THE MILL SUPERVISOR IS OUT; PERFORM MAINTENANCE ON EQUIPMENT;
• COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER SUPERVISORS ON DAY-TO-DAY BASIS;FILL IN FOR CONTROL ROOM OPERATIONS; FILL OUT ACCIDENT REPORTS WHEN INJURY HAPPENS;
• CHECK WITH OTHER SUPERVISORS ON DAY-TO-DAY PRODUCTION FOR THAT DAY; FILL IN FOR SUPERVISOR WHEN THEY ARE IN MEETINGS OR WHEN THEY ARE ABSENT;
• HAVE GOOD ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS; GOOD PEOPLE SKILLS, COMMUNICATING WITH EMPLOYEES AND SUPERVISORS;

Job Duties

Bacic computer knowledge recommended but not required- Excel, Word

Must be able to communicate with employees using verbal and written communication.

Must be able to walk, climb ladders & stairs, move arms to operate equipment, bend, stoop, kneel.

Must be able to lift and carry 10-50 pounds 5 to 500 feet.

Must be able to reach above head or shoulders.

Must be able to see close distances 3-10 feet.

Must be able to pass the forklift certification.

Must be able to pass the forklift eye exam with or without correction.

Maintenance and Machine Operations required.

Other duties as assigned by manager
