Rich Ice Cream Company is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager. We feel this is an exciting position for someone that wants to be part of a team and assist the company in following all food safety rules, guidelines, and laws. Responsibilities:

• Finished product sampling, and monitoring.
• Ability to work with suppliers and vendors to ensure all products meet specifications.
• Ability to work with the QA Technicians to always ensure audit readiness.
• Perform Food quality checks periodically throughout entire shift.
• Assign all monthly, weekly, and daily tasks to QA Technicians, and oversee task completion.
• Collect and perform quality and/or safety checks on all incoming ingredients for approval.
• Work with fellow QA team members as well as members across departments to troubleshoot and solve unforeseen issues.
• Oversee, motivate, train, and develop QA Technicians.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of GFSI, HACCP and FSSC standards.
• Minimum of 2 years experience overseeing GMP and SOP programs.
• Minimum of 2 years experience overseeing FDA and SQF audits.
• Experience implementing and overseeing corrective actions resulting from internal audits and in preparation for external auditing bodies.
• Knowledge of food microbiology and food safety.
• Knowledge of food safety documentation.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a Quality Department in the Food Manufacturing field.
• Laboratory experience as it pertains to the food industry.
• Food Microbiology experience – swabs, collecting sanitary samples, plating, etc.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
• Flexible and able to prioritize multiple task.
• Strong analytical, technological and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• West Palm Beach, FL 33405: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• HACCP: 2 years (Preferred)
• FSSC 22000: 2 years (Preferred)
• ISO 9001: 2 years (Preferred)
