Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Identify and report safety issues to senior leadership as discovered.
- Collect bill of lading paperwork and verifying southbound paperwork/documentation for Mexican customs.
- Insure paperwork and equipment meets CTPAT seal standards prior to vehicle departure.
- Coordinating and reporting local movements and deliveries to Little Rock Dispatch.
- Collection POD’s and other documentation for billing purposes and forward as required.
- Perform accurate daily yard check of assets on site and able to identify basic equipment issues and/or safety concerns and those assets.
- Inspect trailers inbound and out bound for damage and report to equipment.
- Provide oversight and direction to drivers as required.
- Operate forklift equipment in accordance with OSHA standards 1910.178(l) (3).
- Trans load cargo as required and maintain secured recordkeeping for trans loading events.
- Load all vehicles in accordance with load securement laws as mandates in FMCSA49 CFR 390.5
- Perform all other duties as requested.
Requirements
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Must be bilingual - English, Spanish
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Ability to be forklift certified.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
- Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75 pounds safely at times.
