Job Posting for Electromechanical Assembler I at Richard Wolf Medical Instruments
Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is currently seeking a Electromechanical Assembler in Vernon Hills, IL. The Electromechanical Assembler will assemble and test electromechanical devices including pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and video components.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to perform mechanical skills such as soldering, grinding, buffing, gluing, and cleaning with various solutions and adhesives.
Perform maintenance on equipment and work areas used by department as needed.
Ability to assist with the repair, testing, and alignment of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, video imaging and HF devices.
Prepare, cut, and strip wire and tubing per print.
Clean, pack and process Electromechanical finished goods.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment as required for processes (lathe, milling, hammering, punch presses, pneumatic, grinding, polishing and testing devices, etc.).
Perform equipment and room cleaning as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete daily production documentation.
Ability to perform laser welding for various electromechanical devices as needed.
Aware of and comply with the RWMIC Quality Manual and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Other duties as assigned by Production Manager - Electromechanical.
QUALIFICATIONS:
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of assembly experience preferred.
Ability to work with small parts.
Ability to work with magnification equipment such as microscopes, eye loops, etc.
Ability to read Blueprints.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.
Basic understanding of electronic measuring equipment such as digital multimeters, preferred.
Basic PC Skills.
Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.

Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
Lift/Carry up to 25 pounds
Bend/Stoop/Kneel 4 hours per day
Push/Pull up to 50 pounds
