Position Overview
Reporting to the Product Manager, your role will include organizing the sales force to achieve the goal, resolving and supporting various issues regarding team and customer questions. You will act as a reference person for clarification of internal procedures (quotes, forecasts, etc.), set up larger accounts or projects (initial inventory, validation of packaging needs) and perform the monthly Action Plan Progress Report.
Responsibilities Include
- Motivate and monitor the performance of sales team with respect to Lehmann products;
- Support sales managers and staff in providing them with monthly product training and aiding in customer presentations;
- Train new sales staff and specification staff relating to Lehmann products;
- Set targets and development plans;
- Coordinate and monitor all sales and training activities;
- Identify target customers;
- Assist reps in customer calls preparation;
- Assist sales force during customer meetings and negotiations;
- Organize trainings for customers;
- Competition survey;
- Awareness and generate demand at the user level;
- Action plan with spec reps to put in place;
- Build product comparison;
- Participate to brochure, literature concepts;
- Contribute to website improvement to facilitate the selection and the purchase of Lehmann products.
What We Are Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar or related position
- A strong background selling, marketing, or managing cabinet lock solutions
- Advanced leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Adept use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrable attention to detail, resourcefulness, and inherent drive to succeed
- Successful sales background, preferably with experience training and mentoring salespeople
- Bilingual (French/English) is required
- University degree or some college is preferred, but not required
