The Technical Project Manager is the main support of the Regional CS Senior Project Manager to implement and coordinate projects for the Richemont Technical Center (RTC)
Following LEAN principles and project management methodology defined for the organization, the technical project manager is responsible for leading and coordinating projects in the domain of technical operations mainly for the RTC. The projects can cover, but not only, a variety of topics as follow:
- New technical processes implementation
- Quality dashboards and improvement meetings
- New equipment benchmark and implementation
- H&S operations and projects
- This position requires excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking to resolve situations, define processes.
RTC TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER - FORT WORTH
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical support:
- Facilitate and coordinate installation of any new equipment
- Be updated on last watchmaking equipment novelties
- Centralize and liaise all brands technical updates
- Guarantee the update/renewal of general but also branded tools
- Coordinate the organization of maintenance and calibration of equipment
Technical project:
- Manage technical projects linked to the optimization of the organization and processes (layout, repair flow (Based on STREAM), organization of the work.
- Manage projects related to 5’s and efficiency initiatives like:
- Organization of tools
- Management of supplies
- Waste elimination (operational)
On-Going Improvement:
- Be the main support of technical management for ongoing improvement strategy definition and implementation (methodology of problems resolution DMAIC, LEAN, ongoing improvement meetings…)
- Recognize opportunities for process improvement in the framework of group stream template, and propose evolutions to the management team.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that group H&S guidelines are implemented in the main facility and document any specific process linked to CS activity.
- Be the main point of contact of H&S teams to translate group guidance into operational processes
YOUR PROFILE
Required experience:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a production environment.
- 2 – 3 years of Project Management experience is required
- Lean Six Sigma Certification is required
- A technical background sufficient to understand the technologies/technical issues involved with the finished products, to be able to anticipate and identify critical technical obstacles, and to make accurate recommendations/decisions.
- Experience in luxury service and/or production environment
- Proven track record and success Implementation a project utilizing LEAN principles.
- Ability to traveling in the US and internationally for extended periods of time.
Technical skills/abilities:
- Understand the relationships between operational effectiveness, corporate strategy and customer satisfaction
- Analytical skills (problem solving and tools for analysis)
- Process development is required
- Good Excel & Powerpoint skills
- Organization and processes: Lean management, 5S
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Horology Knowledge is a plus
