JOB OPPORTUNITY
Division: Nursing
Position: Public Health RN/BSN (37 Hours Per Week)
Pay Grade: 20 (RN)
21 (BSN)
Salary: $ 24.16 per hour - RN
$ 25.38 per hour - BSN
Shift Times: 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday-Thursday,
8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Friday.
May also work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Independently practices within a broad scope of nursing, focusing on prevention strategies. Manages complex
clinical issues. Serves as a public health resource person in the community. Applies epidemiology to
communicable disease control and investigation.
Work site may include homes, schools, industry, churches, etc.
Must have knowledge of nursing techniques and methodologies; human relations, counseling; interviewing and
education; public relations; community health problems; community resources; pediatric immunizations.
Must possess a Diploma, A.D.N. or B.S.N. in Nursing and a current Ohio RN license. Two (2) years of nursing
experience is preferred.
