Seeking a veterinary technician with at least 3 years of experience in surgery and general practice.

Join our excellent team of technicians and assistants in the beautiful town of Richmond. We are a thriving practice offering opportunities to work with multiple doctors with various backgrounds and interests. Job responsibilities include client education, animal handling, venipuncture, lab work, and radiographs. Surgery shifts (2-4 per month to start) include surgical monitoring, administering drugs, assisting with dental procedures and dental radiographs.

One great thing about working here; is along with working with cats and dogs; you will also have the opportunity to work with wildlife, which we do pro bono. We have had a variety of birds, including owls, hawks and eagles, as well as foxes, raccoons, opossums and more.

We are interested in creating a schedule that works for you, and we provide a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary is commensurate with previous experience. Shifts are 9-10 hours, 4 days a week. No weekends!

We encourage our technicians to utilize their skills fully and take on responsibility to help with the daily management of our practice.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
