What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver/Caregiver position at Ride Care Transport?
We are a small non-emergency medical transportation company serving the North Florida area, in this role you will ensure the safe and comfortable transport of passengers in your company provided vehicle. We are currently seeking a compassionate professional, and reliable individual to join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver.
No Experience Required: Paid Training and Certifications Provided. This position requires you travel in your company provided vehicle to pick up passengers in Crestview, Defuniak, Bonifay, Chipley, Marianna, PCB, Ft Walton Beach and occasionally other locations.
Duties:
-Safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and home addresses.
-Assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle including handling and securing wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
-Keeping detailed records of trips and ensuring timely arrivals while maintaining a clean vehicle.

- Routing, scheduling, and dispatching of drivers and appointments.

Requirements:
- Valid Florida Drivers License and minimum age of 25 is required by our insurance
- Must Pass DOT Physical, Background & MVR Check, & Drug Screen
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Previous experience in customer service, bus driving or commercial driving is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
