Service Technician Level A

Rattlesnake Mountain Harley Davidson is looking for highly motivated Service Technician to enter the exciting world of motorcycles! Harley Davidson is the nation’s largest purveyor of good times! Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Reports to the Service Manager. 
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on Motorcycles.
• Repair, customize, maintain, or overhaul both customer and dealer owned motor vehicles as close to the allotted time schedule as possible with excellent quality.
• Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time whenever possible. 
• Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible.
• Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance with factory specifications.
• Assist Service Writer, when requested, with writing up work orders, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction.
• Notify Service Writer/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customer may be contacted and notified of the delay.
• Maintain an efficiency rate of greater than 100%. Efficiency is measured as the number of billed hours divided by the number of worked hours. Example: If 7 hours are billed but it only took 6.44 hours to complete the work, the efficiency rate would be 108%.
• Properly clock in/out of repair orders (R.O.S).
• Maintain a clear driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement and an acceptable driving record and be able to test drive customer units.

Requirements 

• Must submit to a background check and drug screening. 
• Must have Motorcycle endorsement.
• Must have 2 years of experience working on motorcycle/power sports equipment. 
• Must have own tools.
