Beverage and Warehouse Manager

The Beverage and Warehouse Manager oversees the overall operations and logistics of the alcoholic beverage program and warehouse operations. Make certain all systems are in place and running efficiently for all orders to be completed and on schedule for every event. Supervises daily activities of warehouse employees and works with Operations Managers to ensure satisfactory results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages, supervises, and coordinates activities of Warehouse employees to ensure accuracy, completeness, and distribution of warehouse orders; along with the receiving, organizing, cleaning and disposal of product and/or equipment returned from events.
• Determines schedules for warehouse employees by organizing and managing warehouse priorities and work assignments.
• Responsible for warehouse staff performance results by orienting, training, and disciplining, along with monitoring attendance and over time.
• Works within CaterXpert database to maintain data, costs, and pricing; receives and process orders for all events; determines amount to send when requested; reconciles and tracks usage for each event and submits billing.
• Orders and receives all products; works directly with vendors/distributors to streamline purchasing, negotiate deals, make selections, etc.
• Works with Sales Team on special requests and accuracy of orders.
• Keeps accurate inventory of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), disposables and equipment monthly.
• For the alcoholic beverage program, must follow each states guidelines for reporting and maintains necessary record keeping Maryland, Virginia and DC.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and finding solutions to challenges.
• Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business.

• High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and time management skills are needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision; to multitask and prioritize is a must.
• A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills is a must.
• Possesses a positive attitude with the ability and willingness to work with vendors and professionals from other departments of the company is needed.
• Excellent team management skills to work effectively in a team setting and lead a team a must.
• Ability to maintain accurate records is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint and Teams is a must.
