Currently we are looking for a director of nursing to lead our nursing department to providing quality care. A qualified director of nursing will have an active Nebraska nursing license (RN) and an active CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

· Manage nursing leadership and the nursing team to ensure quality care is being provided.

· Handle the on-call schedule among nurse leadership (including yourself).

· Monthly audits and reviews (track call lights, med errors, risk management, expenses, etc).

· Grievance follow-ups.

· Staffing for the nursing team and nursing leadership.

· Oversee clinical classes of nursing students.

· Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

· Pass a physical exam.

· Lift, push, pull and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc.

· Be able to life up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

· Bend, stoop and twist almost constantly throughout the day.

· See and hear well enough to take blood pressure, chart, read thermometers, etc.

· Remain active and on their feet for up to four (4) hours at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per year
