What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cake Decorator position at Ridleys Family Market?
Cake Decorators are a very skilled position and are used to decorate cakes to keep our cake areas full and available for customers and also take and fill special customers orders for cakes including birthdays, weddings, and other occasions. Cake decorators must be able to take customer orders either directly in person, over the phone, or from notes taken by another associate and properly fill their requests and the in store needs in an efficient way. Efficient means in terms of the number of cakes that are produced in a period of time but also with the resources used for that production. Cake Decorators are also typically asked to help in all other areas of the bakery including production, quality control, and packaging.
