What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatry Physician position at RieLes Group?
RieLes Group is looking for an experienced Psychiatry Physician to join our growing team! Psychiatrist shall be responsible for providing compressive services for Veterans enrolled for care in the Atlanta VA Healthcare System Outpatient Clinics.
The Psychiatrist will be expected to provide telephone and telehealth assessments as needed.
Specific duties include but may not be limited to:
- Conducting diagnostic evaluations
- Psychiatric consultation
- Medication management
- Individual Psychotherapy
- Prescribe appropriate psychopathic mediation
- General clinic management of patients
- Provides assessment of serious and complicated cases
- Provides treatment for common diagnoses
- Shall be a member of a behavioral health interdisciplinary treatment team and will work collaboratively with other disciplines on the team in providing comprehensive care.
- Shall establish professional working relationships with clinical service providers within the medical center and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC’s), providing curbside and telephone consultations
- Shall take call in rotation with other psychiatrists in the Mental Health Service Line
- Provide discharge education and follow up procedures
- Shall follow medication policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible per the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (Psychiatry).
- Current copy of DEA certificate
- Must have or obtain appropriate National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Active, full, and unrestricted license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- Current copies of Continuing Medical Education (CME) /Certified Education Unit (CEU)
- Must have active BLS Certification
- Must comply with any mandatory health and immunization requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and staff in English
