What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfillment Supervisor position at Rifle Llc?
OVERVIEW
The Fulfillment Supervisor role is primarily focused on the overall performance of our web fulfillment team meeting daily quantifiable metrics based around accuracy and efficiency while maintaining a preset shipping window. This role reports into the Fulfillment Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Determine order priority based on order method, destination, and timeline
Manage personnel, time and resources to establish maximum effectiveness
Oversee and manage the fulfillment team by ensuring timely and prompt movement of personnel and product
Motivate team members to increase efficiency within a positive work environment
Liaise with Assembly, Printing, and Inventory/Warehousing team on the availability of needed items to fulfill orders
Work with Customer Service and Sales team to cultivate a positive experience for the customer and continuously improve processes
Navigate proficiently within company databases such as ShipStation, SAP, Magento, and ZenDesk
Coordinate third party shipments such as Hygge & West or Simply Framed with Fulfillment Specialists/Experts and Customer Care
Check in received shipments/communicate with delivery and pick up drivers
Communicate with shipping partners as required
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years manufacturing and/or fulfillment experience
Proven management experience including training and development of team
Strong understanding of MRP
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessarily required
Experience with SAP Business One a plus
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized and self motivated
Effective communication skills
