What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cna every other weekend position at Right at Home Central MO?
This is an "awake" every other Friday and Saturday overnight shift (20 hours every other weekend).
Our individual one-on-one client training will help you begin with confidence in this client's care. You don’t mind getting a little dirty this could include (but is not limited to) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as providing assistance with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair), eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and recording input and output, and other household chores.
Expect to provide CNA-level personal care as the client is bed-bound. You are expected to perform other assigned activities as trained.
Must Haves :
Every other weekend availability
High school diploma and / or a G.E.D. certificate
Six months experience as a caregiver in health care (in homes or facilities) or successful completion of a State approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) course
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) shall have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies or have 6 months experience performing CNA level duties.
Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Current CPR Certificate is recommended
Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
Must provide 3 supervisor professional references from past work history.

Competitive pay ($18.00 - $19.00 an hour)
Pay may vary by location, level of training and type of shift
