An elderly gentleman in Oakland County needs assistance to remain in his home with his wife. Appropriate candidates must have a pleasant disposition, be neat and clean, and use good communication skills. The preferred candidate should be familiar with diabetic management. Comfortable pet-free and smoke-free home in a beautiful neighborhood. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Must have verifiable credentials, be a non-smoker, and be drug-free. The assignment includes a private bedroom and bathroom for their personal use. Meals are provided by the hosting client.
Essential Functions:
- Companionship
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
- Performs light housekeeping activities
- Transportation in Client's vehicle
The position requires a mature person with:
- Minimum 3 years of recent healthcare experience with seniors
- Ability to stay at client's home Friday morning to Monday morning
- Good references from previous employment
- High School Diploma
