Financial Analyst

Summary:

Supply Chain Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Information and is responsible for:

• Compiling accurate monthly financial analysis reports for all areas within the Supply Chain.
• Supports the maintenance of Supply Chain information system applications.
• Retrieves, compiles, and presents Supply Chain metrics in an understandable, user friendly format for multiple levels within the Health System.
• Reviews RHS Financial reports and identifies spend categories with actual totals exceeding annual budget.
• Tracks all Supplier rebates received and determines appropriate distribution for General Accounting and works with GPO Sourcing Specialist to identify any pending rebates.
• Validates GPO vendor reporting spend for all high usage /high dollar suppliers.
• Conducts PO audits monthly to evaluate procure to pay process.
• Creates ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Requires the ability to analyze health care data from conceptualization throughout the presentation of the data, or the procurement of goods or services.
• Requires proficiency with analytical tools (MMIS, Microsoft Office suite), knowledge of data analysis methodology, and use of presentation software, strong communication skills and strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service.
• This position requires the ability to quickly learn and understand Supply Chain business needs and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred.
• 2-4 years Supply Chain or related experience is required.
• 1-3 years of Item Master file maintenance is preferred
• Work experience using demonstrated computer skills in spreadsheet analysis, word processing and database queries.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
