Duration: 4 months contract
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries regarding shipping and receiving, includes inquiries made by phone, email, and in person
- Organize and allocates orders, distribute receiving and shipping work
- Maintain shipping and receiving files, both hard and soft copy
- Schedule receiving appointments
- Ensure all documents are scanned to insure that all orders are billed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Review packing slips for accuracy, reporting discrepancies and additional information as directed
- Processes manual Bills of Lading for Common Carrier shipments
- Perform weekly and monthly safety inspections
- Operate MHE when material handler is out of office and cover material handler duties
- Other duties as assigned
