Position Summary:

The graphic design intern promotes Rihm Family Companies (RFC), its products, services, and unique value proposition to help drive business, increase the strength of the brand, and reinforce our position in the marketplace.  You will report directly to the Marketing Communications Manager.  This in an in-office position based at RFC’s Corporate Headquarters in South St. Paul, MN.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Ability to bring artistic vision to content creation
• Design graphics as needed using Adobe Creative Suite
• Assist with other content creation including website, sales, and promotional materials
• Design and create graphics for social posts and promotions
• Help create and or optimize marketing presentations
• Ensure brand consistency in all design work
• Provide additional support to the Marketing Communications Manager

Essential Qualifications

• Currently pursuing higher education or bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, or related field
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, and related application skills
• Excellent PC skills and proficiency in business applications
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, etc.
• Excellent eye for detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines
