Basic Function:
Develop and administer quality and airworthiness standards for Company aircraft, ensuring consistent adherence through continuous analysis and a surveillance program.
Qualifications:
- IA Certification
- A&P Certification
- Experience: Expertise with Corporate/Private Jet Airframes
- Safety: No incidents or accidents on record
- License: Valid Driver's License
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Publications Management: Ensure all technical publications are current; prepare and submit revisions for approval.
Maintenance Oversight: Ensure all maintenance on company aircraft is in compliance with Aero Ways, Inc. manuals and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Quality Control: Oversee quality control of aircraft components and monitor the continuing analysis and surveillance program.
Inspection Procedures: Institute improved inspection procedures and methods to enhance quality and economic efficiency of maintenance.
Documentation Accuracy: Edit the accuracy of all aircraft log books and accompanying maintenance schedule forms.
Flight Data Management: Collect and enter flight hours and cycles for all Aero Ways, Inc. aircraft into the daily computer entries. Update the Aircraft Inspection Status Report.
Planning Spreadsheets: Create, publish, and distribute spreadsheets showing remaining hours/cycles for aircraft inspections, time-controlled parts, and technical directives. Note: Scheduling is based on computer times.
Audit and Maintenance: Audit and maintain all engine and airframe logbooks. Verify and audit computer tracking of power plants, components, inspections, and overhauls.
Weight and Balance: Manage weight and balance functions, including distribution and maintenance of weight and balance manuals.
Tool and Equipment Checks: Make periodic checks on all inspection tools and calibrate precision test equipment. Coordinate as necessary with Purchasing/Supply to ensure availability and readiness.
