Position Overview:
Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Imaging Manager to lead and manage the daily operational functions of the imaging services department. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance and a signing bonus.
Schedule:
Shift: Monday- Friday
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership in planning, organizing, staffing, and managing daily operations of imaging services.
· Coordinate, evaluate, and direct patient care services and technical and administrative activities.
· Ensure compliance with performance improvement plans, ACR, TJC, and other regulatory agencies.
· Oversee staff scheduling, workload assignments, and daily operational priorities.
· Communicate effectively with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare professionals.
· Perform imaging procedures as needed and assess patient needs.
· Monitor equipment status, repairs, and maintenance, documenting the impact on patient care.
· Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Provide practical instruction and professional development for healthcare staff.
· Evaluate staff performance, provide guidance, and influence staff morale.
· Act on patient satisfaction survey metrics to achieve patient care goals.
· Participate in quality assurance and improvement plans.
· Manage inventory and purchase supplies for areas of responsibility.
· Adhere to professional code of ethics and internal controls.
· Maintain knowledge of and enforce safety measures.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Licenses/Certifications: Must hold a current registry from one of the following organizations:
· American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
· American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
· Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
· American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
· Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
· Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred.
Experience:
· Five (5) years of clinical imaging experience.
· Three (3) years of imaging leadership experience.
