We’re looking for a Field Technician to perform field service and repairs on customer forklift and material handling equipment. You’ll primarily be working independently driving a company provided service truck to the customer’s place of operations, but you’ll always have the support of the entire RION Equipment team.
Essential & Primary Job Duties
- Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts
- Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems
- Perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner
- Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments
- Accurately complete service reports on a daily basis
