Food and Beverage Assistant Manager

Overview:
Under the supervision of the Food & Beverage General Manager, the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager is responsible for delivering operational excellence in all aspects of the restaurant by coaching and mentoring the service team. This is a seasonal position that will maintain a high level of standard consistent with the brand values of Cooperstown All Star Village.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and hire food & beverage positions.
• Schedule all employees for their shifts.
• Provide training for each position.
• Ensure the proper cleanliness of the facilities.
• Assist with the ordering of food, beverages, and dry goods.
• Responsible for the daily distribution of cash for the registers.
• Account for liquor usage and ordering.
• Maintain Health Department logs.
• Serve as first line of service in dealing with customer issues.
• Create job descriptions for all positions within the food & beverage division.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years in previous Assistant Manager role
• Strong P&L experience.
• High energy and motivational style with ability to get things done.

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:

• Routinely required to work extended hours of time.
• Physical ability to accomplish all tasks.
• Routinely lift or move up to 50 pounds at least 20% of the time.
• Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold weather conditions, and dust/particles.
