We provide one-on-one person-centered mentoring to humans throughout Oregon experiencing developmental and intellectual diversity. As a Day Support Activities (DSA) Direct Support Professional you’ll provide community based support to individuals living in a group home setting. Your goal is to get your clients engaged in a variety of activities throughout the week. Your success will allow them to grow their social network, and improve their quality of life.

Requirements:

• History: Able to pass a Background and DMV Check

• Driving Experience: Hold a current drivers license, have 1 year of driving experience, and must have the ability to transport clients in your personal vehicle.

• Smart Phone: Successful applicants have a smart phone to clock in and out, and to take notes.

• Location: Once matched with a client, shifts will take place in the community where their group home is located. Occasional trainings and meetings take place in the office.

• Training: Approximately 40 hours of paid training. Our training is self paced, and most can be done from your home.

• Bonuses: No cap on bonuses for referring friends.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the health and safety of clients in your care.

• Document daily goal progress

• Remain calm in times of stress or excitement.

• Encourage interaction, independence, and choice.

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming as needed.
