THE POSITION
The Supported Living House Manager will assist the Program Coordinator's to ensure the quality and safety in Supported Living services. The House Manager will also provide direct services for participants, training, and overseeing the Direct Support Professionals in your specific hom and may assist with the emergency/on call supported living phone.
POSITION EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years or older to apply
- High School Diploma, GED or the ability to pass a competency test is required
- 1 year experience working in a supported living program
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to travel as needed
- Maintain current First Aid & CPR certification and assistance with Medication certification
- Meet requirements of CPI/RISE vehicle insurance agency if required to drive a CPI/RISE vehicle
- Commitment to providing high quality customer service
- Demonstrated organization/time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication across an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to learn, ask questions, and integrate learned information into daily work tasks
- Excellent people skills with different socioeconomic and cultural groups
- Problem-solver, self-motivated and takes initiative
- Experience with electronic health record documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google platforms
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains DDA / SL compliance with the Department of Health & Welfare and Medicaid Rules and Regulations.
- Participates as requested in the participant partnership meeting while encouraging participation by individuals receiving services/families/caregivers and giving recommendations for increased independence.
- Attend, assist and participate in all SL meetings.
- Ensure that individuals receiving services are treated with dignity and respect.
- Maintain ethical standards and professionalism.
- Ensure the adherence to CPI/RISE mission statement
- Maintain necessary records, logs, and other documentation as required by the planning teams.
- Ensuring that weekly schedules are given to family/participant and in the supported living client books
- Assist staff with clients in behavior to resolve in a safe and calm manner
- Update paperwork in all house books monthly
- Coordinate Doctor’s appointments and transportation as needed
- Assist with the emergency/on call supported living phone
- Communicate concerns and staff situations to supervisor/director
- Assist with new staff trainings
- Assist with meetings and trainings
- Complete SL house maintenance inspections
- Meet with Program Coordinators weekly or as needed
