Rise Vision is currently searching for a Sales Development Representative to help drive growth in North America.

Mission of the Sales Development Representative:

As a Sales Development Representative, you’re accountable for generating opportunities for Account Executives. You ensure all your activity is diligently logged in the CRM and information is always current as of the last business day. You drive prospects to attend demos with Account Executives.
You are a product expert on Rise Vision, understanding our strategy, messaging, and how best to position Rise Vision, our customers and the problems they face. You use the tactics, tools, and processes available to generate qualified opportunities. You provide feedback and suggestions to improve our prospecting and qualification methods.

This position currently reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Help leads learn about Rise Vision, ensure they receive the best buying experience possible, and treat them how you would want to be treated while buying a new solution.
  • Diligently follow up with leads via email and phone, always ensure your message is relevant, and don’t be annoying. Give people what they ask for, whether that’s an answer to their question, pricing, a short video, not to be contacted, etc…
  • Ask leads great questions, be curious about their organization, problems they face, current solutions, role, buying process, etc.
  • Keep the CRM up to date. Follow the processes, update the properties, and maintain great notes for future SDRs, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to keep leads engaged, maintain high demo completion rates, and improve our win rate.
  • Quickly learn about the industry, competitors, partners, alternative solutions, integrations, use cases, ways to handle objections, and how to make your message relevant.
  • Become a product expert on Rise Vision, understand the marketing and sales strategy, understand how best to position Rise Vision, and deeply understand our customers and what problems they face.

Role Requirements:

  • This is an entry-level position. Bonus points for high volume front-line customer service experience and/or sales experience in SaaS, Edtech, or AV/IT is a plus.
  • You have high standards for work and get tasks done quickly. You appreciate order and organization. Maintaining a clean CRM sounds enjoyable. And you’re a continuous learner.
  • You have excellent writing skills and recognize names like Joanna Wiebe, Gary Halbert, and Strunk and White.
  • You’re a glass-half-full person. You roll up your sleeves and see an imperfect situation, tool, process, etc. as an opportunity.
  • You’re competitive, you strive to win, a scoreboard excites you, and having your successes and failures reviewed in front of your team sounds fun.
  • You’re very comfortable using technology. Bonus points for experience using HubSpot or other CRMs/sales engagement tools.
  • Talking to customers is a pleasure, not a chore. You’re excited to get on a call and learn about the problems customers face and how Rise Vision helps them.
  • The role is 100% remote, but you must be willing to travel ~6 times a year for up to a week for team, partner, and customer events.
  • You’re not afraid of making cold calls.
