Ritz Instrument Transformers, an industry leader in instrument transformers, cast-coil power transformers, and solid-insulated bus systems, has an opening for a Tester to join our third shift Production Department, reporting to the Test Manager/Shift Supervisor.
Position responsibilities include:
SUMMARY
3rd Shift Testing position with base rate of $16.04 PLUS ADDITIONAL $1.00 3rd Shift Premium. Testing will be applied against the electrical, insulation and accuracy of the units. Test will be given before and after the molding process to insure the accuracy of the transformers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electrical testing of transformers
- Insulation testing of transformers
- Accuracy testing of transformers
Successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior knowledge of electrical fundamentals, the ability to use related equipment and hardware such as Computer aided Design (CAD) system, Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus.
