Schedules to choose from are:
- 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am - 36 hours - 3-12hour shifts 7pm-7am Every Other Weekends
River Edge is looking to fill the position of Health Service Technician (HST) with/at our Crisis Service Center in Baldwin County. The Crisis Service Center is an important alternative to waiting or an after-hours trip to the emergency room. The Crisis Service Center is located at our River Edge-Baldwin site. It operates 24 hours a day year-round to provide outpatient crisis stabilization (23 hours or fewer) to adults facing an acute mental health crisis.
In this role you will:
- Assists with daily living activities at the person’s home, in a daytime non-residential facility, or a residential facility
- Observes and monitors client’s behavior and charts observations and incidents
You will need:
- HS diploma/GED
- Acceptable background check/drug screen
- Ability to pass a Basic CPR and First Aid
- Previous experience working in a residential or inpatient facility with individuals with a behavioral health diagnosis. (preferred)
- Previous experience operating basic office equipment (ex. computer, printer). (preferred)
