A Tail-Wagging Journey

Your day-to-day adventure will include:

What You’ll Be Working On

• Engaging and communicating with clients in a professional, friendly demeanor
• Getting and maintaining patient medical history information
• Following Fear Free Procedures to safely handle and restrain animals
• Monitoring and recording observations of all patients and reporting observations to doctors
• Performing nursing care for patients such as ear cleaning, basic bandage, medical baths and more
• Assisting the doctor with patient treatments, procedures and activities
• Administering anesthesia or sedatives to control pain under direction of a veterinarian
• Obtaining quality samples for diagnostic testing
• Preparing and capturing diagnostic radiographs
• Performing x-ray and laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Performing surgery room and equipment preparations as well as post-operation sterilization and cleaning
• Performing dental procedures including appropriate medical documentation and reporting to the doctor
