Lead Tech Aide

Responsible in assisting the technologists with patients throughout the facility and in all modalities, stocking rooms with supplies, ordering, folding and putting away linen, EMR’ing patients, scanning documents into the computer system, prepping imaging rooms for next patient, making CDs upon request and anything else that is asked, scanning paperwork into PACS, ordering clinical supplies and putting them away upon arrival. Also responsible for Tech Aide's schedule and finding coverage.

• Interact professionally with all employees, patients and other individuals visiting our facility
• Work effectively as a team within your department and with other departments
• Monitor daily schedules for review of workflow for PET, CT, MRI, X-RAY, Mammo & Ultrasound
• Retrieving Nurse Alert Forms for CT, MRI and PET patients from the scheduling department
• Continuous follow up for blood work needed for the CT, MRI and PET patients
• Setting up the exam table for the next patient
• Greeting patients in the reception room when directed by the technologist
• Escorting the patient to the appropriate modality
• Selecting, setting up MRI coils and positioning the patient.
• Assist with In-patients as instructed by nurse or technologist.
• Getting the patients on and off the exam table
• Escorting the patients back to the changing room and instructing the patient that you will walk them to the front reception area when ready.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm and occasional & Saturday's if needed.

* Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
