RVCC is Hiring a School Based Mental Health Clinician!
As one of the largest providers of school-based therapy in our region, River Valley Counseling Center partners with 11 school districts in Hampshire and Hampden Counties to provide outpatient therapy and mental health care to children and adolescents. We are looking to add clinicians to our school-based team!

Candidates can choose between two compensation models: 1) Fee-For-Service, which has the greatest autonomy in determining productivity and schedule, or 2) Salary Plus which provides a yearly base salary with the option of earning additional compensation when exceeding minimum productivity requirements. This particular model is tailored to meet the unique needs of a school clinician with paid days off when the school is off and reduced productivity requirements in the summer.
Fee-for-service range is $35-$42/hour depending on experience and licensure.
Salary Plus is $48k-$52k, plus of $35-$39: Sept through June all school days off are paid; in summer, salary is maintained, but productivity is reduced to 12 per week.
The BONUSES:
$2,000 hiring bonus for bilingual clinicians
$3,000 hiring bonus for school-based clinicians that hold a LICSW or LMHC.
Additional retention bonuses at one and two years of employment, up to $10,000.
The Requirements:
You have a masters in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or other counseling fields eligible for state licensure.
You have experience working or interning in schools and/or clinical mental health care environments.
You have a track record of collaborating with schools, community organizations, and/or other stakeholders to provide mental health care for clients and families.
You have training, experience, and/or coursework in treating trauma in children/adolescents.
