What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at River Valley Estates?

Communication is very important with both residents and staff.
Duties include:
Take direction from Community Manager as needed
Carpentry, painting, operating a bobcat, plumbing experience a plus
Snow plow experience a plus
Maintain property in a clean condition daily
Make ready abandoned/junk homes to be removed from the community
Make/ready and prepare vacant company owned homes for move ins and lot prep for new homes
Make repairs/replacements necessary for company owned homes to be occupied
Pick up trash, limbs, and debris as needed daily in the community
Distribute correspondence to residents periodically per community manager's request
Report any unsafe conditions or maintenance repairs/corrections to community manager
Attendance, punctuality, confidentiality, and professionalism is imperative to the job function
Must be able to lift, stoop, and bend, and take direction from manager
Successfully pass a background test and drug test
*Driving is a requirement of the position; must have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
*High School Diploma required
