Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial health of our organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and budgets for management and external stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Conduct financial analyses and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and monitor financial strategies and initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in financial management, preferably in the construction or utilities industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with accounting software required; knowledge of Foundation is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
