Job Title: Parts & Inventory Technician
Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Parts & Inventory Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Slots parts and warehouse machine inventory, maintaining organization in the Slot Technical workshop, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness. This role involves developing par levels, monitoring budgets, and collaborating with various departments, state agencies, and vendors. The Parts & Inventory Technician will also play a hands-on role in the maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of slot machines and associated equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the Slots parts and warehouse machine inventory
- Manages organization and cleanliness of the Slot Technical workshop and warehouse
- Develops par levels for the most common slot part inventory
- Maintains minimum par levels, inventories, stores, organizes and secures all slot tech inventory and sensitive inventory items
- Monitors the monthly parts spend against budget and reports variances accordingly
- Have an in-depth knowledge of slot equipment, able to identify equipment and components by manufacturer and model
- Responsible for communicating and coordinating approvals with various departments, state agencies, and vendors
- Assists as needed with maintenance and repair of slot machines, slot machine parts, chairs and other gaming related equipment
- Assists as needed with installation, testing, movement, and removal of slot machines and gaming related equipment
- Assists as needed with troubleshooting and proper preventative maintenance of all slot machines and associated equipment
- Maintains proper gaming logs in order to comply with state or internal regulations
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-year electronic degree is preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Inventory control procedural knowledge
- Ability to consistently work with hand tools and electrical equipment
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other tools
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in written format with Team members and guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
