Summary:

• Ability to develop training materials including e-learned modules
• Ability to coordinate training logistics (courses, classrooms, registration, timeframes, etc.) in collaboration with other members of the project team and department managers
• Training end-users on Epic system and RMC workflow processes within system parameters
• Maintaining system documentation
• Familiarity with RMC workflows, processes, policies and procedures
• Proven experience working as a user in a clinical/operational computer software application
• Education in field of expertise desired
• If RN, must have completed nursing program from an approved school of nursing. As of 1/1/18 must obtain BSN with 4 years of hire or transfer.

  License or Certification Requirements:

• Obtaining and maintaining EPIC certification throughout implementation project required
  

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating training logistics (courses, classrooms, registrations, timeframes, etc.) in collaboration with the other members of the project team, and department managers.
• Coordinating training of end-users for new releases.
• Designing and developing role-based training programs to support the workflows to be implemented.
• Developing and maintaining the training environment in a manner consistent with the overall training strategy and approach.
• Developing e-Learning modules as necessary to support the overall training strategy.
• Maintaining system documentation.
• Obtaining and maintaining Epic certification in assigned application module.
• Preparing the Epic Training system for hands-on training, developing training scenarios and training patients, etc.
• Preparing training materials used during training sessions.
• Providing demonstrations of system functionality as necessary.
• Training and supervising Supplemental Trainers.
• Training end-users on proper use of the application.
• Training newly-hired employees as part of their orientation.
