Collection specialist

Riverside Payments is currently looking to add an experienced Collections Specialist to our Operations department. We are looking for someone with past collections agency or in-house collections experience to help us scale and manage risk / liability as an organization.

What you will be doing :

As the Collections Specialist, you will be focused on managing our risk and supporting the active collection of accounts.

Working closely with customers that are delinquent, the Collections Specialist needs to be a passionate problem solver and relationship builder to help our customers find solutions to meet their needs and get their accounts current.

• Act as the owner of all collections processes, systems, and activity for our portfolio with leasing partners.
• Proactively investigate and act on general Inquiries from accounts that could lead to delinquency if not handled.
• Craft and execute the First Payment Default process for all leasing partners.
• Regularly communicate with the Executive Team on the status of delinquent accounts and action plans to rectify.
• Regularly communicate with Leasing Partners on efforts to rectify delinquent accounts.
• Fully investigate all delinquent accounts and craft an action plan for resolution.
• Work directly with outstanding account owners to create a plan for resolution, payment, and prevention of future delinquency.

• Base Salary ($65,000 - $70,000 per year DOE) a comprehensive commission structure to be built in conjunction with the Executive team that provides incentive to not only rectify accounts, but also prevent accounts from becoming delinquent in the first place.
