 Position Summary

The Furniture Tech is responsible for determining damage and defects, following loss prevention and security guidelines, maintain and enhance self esteem of others, establishing good communication with associates and clients. You would also be refurbishing products from 2^nd quality to 1^st quality.  Completing paperwork for chargebacks of vendors, moving furniture and other supplies repetitively. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Correcting defects and performing the best level of wood repairs, refinishing, spraying, and more to meet quality standards.
• Providing support locally for major repairs in final stages prior to load out.
• Following the established guidelines to maintain productivity in the business
• Being able to communicate thoroughly with your peers and client
• Asking for and giving clear and constructive feedback
• Following to all safety guidelines to prevent any injuries and facility damage
• other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• 5 years or more in furniture repair such as upholstery/leather repairs
• Customer service experience
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds with team assistance
• Basic math skills
• Computer knowledge of G-Suite is a plus

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
