The EHR Credentialed Trainer conducts end-user training for EHR applications. The Electronic Health Record Credentialed Trainer is responsible for end user classroom training, support curriculum updates, go-live support, and helpline assistance. The EHR Credentialed Trainer has a deep knowledge base in at least one Epic Medical Record application. They are also proficient in workflows, policies and procedures, and adult learning techniques.
EHR Credentialed Trainer Job Functions:
- Train super users, managers, and end users in specific EHR applications, demonstrating strong software platform skills, the ability to effectively respond to questions and meet training objectives.
- Use comprehensive knowledge of applications administrative and application components and detailed understanding of workflows and system configuration to deliver effective training to end users.
- Meet all ongoing requirements to maintain credentialed status.
- Prepare training environment for training classes.
- Proctor as needed in support of Training efforts.
- Supports software and system upgrades, new software functionality and delivery of refresher training.
- Provide after hours support and training as requested or required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Education, Nursing or other related healthcare field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum: Two (2) years of work experience in one of the following: Epic Ambulatory, EPIC Clinical Documentation or Other comparable EPIC or EHR experience may be acceptable
License / Certification Requirements
- Within 6 weeks of hire or transfer: Achievement of the Riverview. Health Presentation Skills
- Within 60 days: Credentialed as an Ambulatory or Clin Doc Trainer
- Within 180 days become credentials in secondary training discipline
