Job Posting for Patient Advocate at RiverWoods Behavioral Health System
Act as a liaison between the patient and the hospital to facilitate problem - solving when necessary
Develop and implement a plan of treatment in conjunction with members of the Outpatient team
Maintain a record of all complaints and grievances received, including issues addressed
Communicate patient and visitor rights and responsibilities to patient, family members and staff
Facilitate the compliance of up-to-date legal status for all patients
Conduct audits, training programs, documents reviews and analysis
Assist Director of Risk Management with ensuring proper compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, corporate and hospital policies and procedures, and implementing risk, quality assessment and improvement programs with the hospital
Support facility internal and external customer service standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
Required
1 - 2 years: Healthcare customer relations
Education

Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field
