Accountant, Accounts Receivable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Global Business Services (GBS) AR Accountant is responsible for building and implementing an efficient and scalable month-end close process for Accounts Receivable. In addition, the AR Accountant will prepare journal entries, complete reconciliations, and review and approve blackline entries.
• Partner with our GBS Senior Manager for AR to drive strategy for streamlining processes and monitoring Process compliance to Process & Procedures, Internal Controls (including SOX and Access Controls).
• Collaborate within and across the organization on company-wide initiatives revolving around Finance transformation (people, process, technology) through establishing strong relationships with all levels of the business / cross-functional stakeholders, managing stakeholder expectations, and facilitating discussions to ensure information flow, transparency, collaboration, and effective execution of solutions aligned to business needs
• Responsible for supporting Audits (both internal and External)
• Conduct all activities in accordance with the Company values, code of conduct, policies, and compliance requirements
• Strong partner to AR team members for accounting-related matters and procedures related but not limited to billing, cash application, write-offs, deferred revenue

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4 Years experience in a transactional accounting role
• Advanced excel and data visualization skills
• SAP Experience preferred
• Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire to develop, implement and maintain process improvements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products

Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: This is an hourly, exempt position with a range of $31/hour - $36/hour. (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
